Meet Our Team

As Center Director, Clark leads the operations for Sylvan of St. George, Utah. Clark currently teaches high school. He chose a career in the tutoring business because of his love of education. He completed a masters degree at Brigham Young University. When Clark isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him traveling and hiking in the mountains.

Chris oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors in St. George. Chris brings a wealth of knowledge to Sylvan of St. George.  He graduated from SUU in English Literature and has taught our ACT Prep program for over 10 years. When Chris isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him traveling to his favorite place, Scotland.

Michelle is an amazing teacher with a gift for working with kids. While Michelle has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in Math tutoring. She studied at the University of Las Vegas Nevada. She taught as an adjunct instructor of math at Dixie State College and taught at Sylvan for over 15 years.  When Michelle isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her busy with her children and family.

Candace is an excellent teacher with a gift for working with kids. While Candace has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in writing, reading, and language arts tutoring. She graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Education. When Candace isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her ballroom dancing and traveling with her husband.

Kim is a great teacher, she has a gift for working with kids. While Kim has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in Math tutoring. She received her degree from WGU in Mathematics. When Kim isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her tending her grandkids and traveling. 

Kalynn is a gifted math teacher at Vista School in Ivins.  She finds her greatest joy in tutoring math and believes math is the gift that keeps on giving. Kalynn graduated from Dixie State University in Math Education. When she isn’t at Sylvan, you will find her enjoying time with her family and helping others.
