We’ve been going to Sylvan of Dallas and HP for about a year and it’s been a great experience. We started coming after the Richardson location closed, which was for the best since we noticed a huge difference in the teachers here. My son didn’t enjoy attending the other location but enjoys coming to this location. The teachers are much more empathetic and patient and truly enjoy helping the children. We get regular updates on progress and have seen an improvement in my son’s math performance. We are very happy with the flexibility as well since we sometimes have to shift our sessions around b…

Sylvan Learning has been fantastic for our child. The tutors are warm, engaging, and genuinely care about making learning fun rather than a chore. We've seen a noticeable boost in confidence and understanding since starting. Highly recommend to any parent looking for extra academic support! Linda J is awesome and Ms. Kem. The new manager Bhumi Jani is so accommodating.

Honestly, these tutors have been so supportive of my kid in her academics. I’m really pleased with the team and how much they care for her individual progress and and well they keep up with her as they not only work with her on her assignments but they observe her work and her well-being! We have been through a few other tutors and other companies in the past and I wish we had gone to them sooner!

My son Charlie (6) has been at Sylvan for almost a year. The staff is very good at redirecting and helping him focus. They always push him to focus in a positive way my kid responds to. It's a commitment, but he is improving!

Excellent teachers are wonderful working with the children (younger, older, and including entrance exams like the SATs!). The office and its administrators always accommodate busy afterschool schedules. Wonderful customer service. We’re grateful to have found them.

We enrolled my son, Darien, with Sylvan back in October, and his reading score has improved from 358 to 415, a whole 57 points! He may still be under his grade level, but he's finally starting to catch up with his grade level, and I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it to his grade level by the end of summer. I'm super happy we made an investment in getting him the help he needed for his education and can't wait to see how far he'll go!

We took our daughter to Mathnasium for a year, Kumon for 6 months. She continued to struggle at school. A few months at Sylvan and her grades changed dramatically for the better. They’re great about setting her lesson plans for what she’s working on in her classes and do a far better job communicating with us about her strengths and weaknesses. I wish we had brought her here first!

Our daughter has seen a big increase in her iReady scores after a few months of tutoring at Sylvan. The teachers are great!

Sylvan at the Dallas/Highland Park location has been a great place for our child to improve on their math and reading skills. This center also has a free incentive/reward program which keeps our child motivated to learn. The teachers, Linda O., Linda J., Kem, and Janice are so nice and dedicated in teaching our child. Afrah, who is the Center Director is extremely helpful, thoughtful, and knowledgable. She provides very informative customized progress reports which focusses on how our child is improving and also makes recommendations on how to enhance our child's learning.
