Our Center’s local learning journey began three decades ago with the Dollar General Literacy Foundation in Nashville’s Sam Levy Housing, which was an economically disenfranchised and high crime area. We received the National Workplace Literacy Award from First Lady Barbara Bush. We are keeping our promise made to her personally and her sweeping legacy.
