Fall Creative Writing Club!
Creative Writing Club will be on Wednesdays at 4:30pm-5:25pm for 12 weeks – from October 2nd-December 18th. The creative writing club is geared toward upper elementary through middle schoolers (4th-8th graders).
Creative writing gives students a chance to explore, imagine, have fun, and express themselves. Writing creatively allows students to practice rhetorical skills without the pressure of writing the perfect essay. Whether it’s fiction or nonfiction, everyone can be a storyteller. Students will draft, edit, and share their stories all while becoming a better writer. Students must be able to independently write for the Creative Writing club.
Students can drop in for individual sessions for $25 each of sign up for all 12 weeks for $250! Students who sign up for at least 10 LEGO sessions, will also receive a friend pass to invite a new friend each week!
Fall LEGO Club!
Looking to build your student’s STEM skills with LEGOs? LEGO Club will be on Wednesdays at 3:30pm-4:25pm for 12 weeks – from October 2nd-December 18th. This LEGO Club is geared towards elementary school students (K-5th graders), but easily adaptable to older students!
Each week, students will be paired with a partner to work together in creating simple machines, developing stories, and having fun! They will be using LEGOs to become more confident in their science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics skills with hands-on learning! Students do not need to be independent readers to join the LEGO club!
Students can drop in for individual sessions for $25 each of sign up for all 12 weeks for $250! Students who sign up for at least 10 LEGO sessions, will also receive a friend pass to invite a new friend each week!
