Meet Our Team

As Center Director, Natalie leads the daily operations for Sylvan of Pleasantville . A former Biology and General Science teacher, Natalie chose a career in the tutoring business because she enjoys working with individual students. She has a Bachelors in Biology, a Masters in Education, and an Ed.S  in  Leadership for Social Change.  When Natalie isn’t at Sylvan, she is spending time with her children.

Ms. Christina earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and her MAT in Early Childhood and Childhood Education. She also earned her MS degree in School Counseling. In addition to being NYS certified in those areas of education, she has NYS certification in Students with Disabilities up to sixth grade. Ms. Christina has worked for Sylvan Learning Center for many years. She loves seeing the difference it makes in the lives of students and their families. Every day at Sylvan Learning Center is a rewarding experience. In her free time, Ms. Christina enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Hi all! My name is Zoe and I am a proud tutor at Sylvan as well as a Teacher’s Assistant at Pleasantville Middle School. I have my bachelor’s degree in education and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in special education! I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher and I am so lucky to be living my dream! Part of my mission statement as a teacher is to help all students achieve their goals. In addition to teaching, I love to ski, play soccer, and bake as well as surround myself with all of my family and friends!

Wendy Fielding is a recently retired New York State certified English as a New Language teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience. She holds a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics (Specialization in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Ms. Fielding loves teaching children and is excited to join Sylvan Learning Center in Pleasantville so that she can fulfill her wish to support children’s language skills, including reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and more. She enjoys gardening, hiking, swimming, and reading in her free time. Ms. Fielding is also an author of children’s books. 

Amy Clarke holds an M.S. Ed in TESOL from Long Island University and a B.A. in Literature from SUNY Purchase. An avid reader, she enjoys writing and helping others. She believes that knowledge is power and is dedicated to helping students realize their full potential.
