Darcy Vallery
Director
As Center Director, Darcy leads all administrative responsibilities for Sylvan of Metairie & New Orleans. A former leasing agent, Darcy chose a career in the tutoring business because while in school, she struggled academically and benefitted from the support of her past tutors and wanted to help other students who just need a little extra support. She studied at University of Louisiana at Lafayette. When Darcy isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her listening to music, watching movies, journaling, and creating art.
Jazmin Fielder
Teacher
Jazmin is a teacher in Metairie, LA with a gift for working with kids. While Jazmin has many
tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in math tutoring. She studied at Xavier University. When Jazmin isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her listening to music.
Gerlinda Davis
Teacher
Gerlinda is an amazing tutor in Metairie, LA. She has special expertise in reading and math tutoring. Friendly and kind, Gerlinda has a great ability to relate to kids. She studied at Xavier University. When Maria isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading.
