Our tutors and staff in Columbus Center consist of passionate educators who love inspiring children to succeed. Warm, caring and great at relating to kids, our tutors in Columbus Center know how to engage and motivate each child in a personal way—building confidence and smiles, as well as skills and better scores. We selectively choose tutors who know local curriculum and can link Sylvan lessons to what’s being taught in school.

Greg Moore
Owner
Greg is a returning local who graduated from Franklin Community High School in 1983 and Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1987 (BS-Business) and 1995 (MBA). After school, Greg spent several years working as a financial analyst for multi-national companies in Indiana, Ohio, Canada, and Japan. Happily back on native soil with his wife, he and Tamayo both look forward to helping young students in Indiana build the skills and confidence they need for their future.
De Trego
Director
De oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors in Columbus. De graduated from Franklin College in 1991 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan in 2005. She has 20 years of Sylvan experience as an instructor, Director of Education, and most recently as a Center Director.
She lives in Franklin with her husband, Steve. She enjoys reading, playing the piano, singing and watching IU basketball. She and her husband are also big fans of the Indianapolis Colts.
Adam Otte
Instructor
Adam is an amazing instructor in Columbus, IN. He has special expertise in math tutoring. He has a gift for working with kids. He graduated from IUPUC. When Adam isn’t working, you’ll find him playing golf along with other sports activities.
Kristen Ronning
Instructor
Kristen is a talented instructor who enjoys working with students who challenge her to think outside the box. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. When she isn’t working you will find her running or spending time with her little boy.
Denver Alexander
Instructor - Reading, Writing, Study Skills, Math Foundations, Advanced Math
Denver is a teacher in Franklin, IN with a gift for working with kids. While Denver has many tutoring talents, he finds the greatest joy in math and science tutoring. He studied at Ball State University and Western Governors University. When Denver isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him at the Colts games.
