Meet Our Team

As Center Director, Jenny leads all day to day operations for Sylvan of Tinley Park/Orland Park. A former teacher, Jenny chose a career in the tutoring business because she loved the idea of working with parents and students of all ages. She studied at Elmhurst College . When  Jenny isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her three sons and husband.

Kristin oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors in Tinley Park. A former teacher, Kristin brings a wealth of knowledge to Sylvan of Tinley Park/Orland Park. She graduated from ISU . When Kristin isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her enjoying her family and friends.

Megan is a former 1st-grade teacher.  She loves working with children of all ages and helping them reach their potential.  

Kay has worked for Sylvan for over 10 years.  She is a retired math teacher from Brother Rice.  She continues to help students at the high school during the day in their in-house tutoring program.  Kay also works and enjoys students of all ages.  She is qualified to teach all of the Sylvan programs!  

Megan has been with Sylvan for many years.  She is a math teacher at Lockport High School.  She is also can teach any student at Sylvan, with her expertise being high school students and above.  Megan is a very valuable member of our Sylvan team. 

Taylor has been with Sylvan for a couple of years.  She tutors in the center as well as works at some of the local high schools subbing.  She enjoys working with students of all ages.  We love having Taylor on our team. 

Ashley has been with Sylvan for a couple of years now.  She loves all students, with her expertise being K through 6th grade.  She loves watching the kids excel and is a great addition to our team! 

Charlie is one of our newest tutors and is already getting many requests.  He can tutor in all subjects, with his expertise being high school students and above.  Charlie is a great addition to our team.  

Molly has been with Sylvan for several years.  She is excellent with the students, her area of expertise being the younger students.  She just loves to see the growth in the individual students and loves her time at Sylvan! 

Gianna has been with Sylvan for several years.  She is an excellent tutor that can work with young students through high school.  She can work with K through college students in all areas.  We love having Gianna on our team!

Michele has also been with us for several years.  She is a wonderful tutor who works with students of all ages.  She can teach high-level Math, English, Spanish, etc.  She adds so much to our team!   

Shaden is another amazing tutor at our center.  Shaden can teach all ages.  She loves to meet all the kids and get to know them.  She can teach from the ages of PreK to college!  She is great with high math and science as well as test prep.
