Meet Our Team

As Center Director, Jennifer manages the center for Sylvan of Valdosta. A former classroom teacher, Jennifer chose a career at Sylvan because she loves the ability to work with each student individually and be a part of each student’s success.  She has worked at Sylvan for over 10 years and is passionate about the impact Sylvan has on each student.  She studied at Florida State University. When Jennifer isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her taking care of her five dogs, reading, enjoying being at home and visiting Disney World.  

Erna is a teacher in Valdosta with a gift for working with kids. While Erna has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in teaching reading.  She studied at Valdosta State University. When Erna isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her doing volunteer work and enjoying her community.

Liz is a teacher at the Sylvan center in Valdosta with enthusiasm for working with kids. While Liz has many tutoring talents, she is really excited about teacher reading and writing to students of all ages.  She studied at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. When Liz isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading and enjoying the outdoors.

Katrina is a teacher at the Valdosta Sylvan with a gift for working with kids. While Katrina has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in teaching math to students of all ages. She studied at Valdosta State University. When Katrina isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family and fellow church members.
