Hey, I am Jaquantas Printup and I’ve been teaching at Sylvan Learning Center since August 2022. I am a University of Georgia alumnus, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Science Education. At Sylvan, I teach fundamental reading, and math and give homework support focusing on all branches of science including Chemistry, Biology, and Physical Science. I am also certified to teach Sylvan Writing, SylvanSync Math and SylvanSync Reading, TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), and qualified to proctor TEAS testing. Mariana Mejia
Teacher
Hello, My name is Mariana. I have a Bachelor’s of science degree in education. I´ve been working as a math teacher in Mexico and Sylvan for three years. I am also a tutoring instructor for reading, math and writing. As a teacher in Mexico I helped my high school students reach first place in a national math test (PLANEA). I taught 6 different levels of math starting from middle to high school. I love teaching math, making it exciting and always looking for new games or activities for kids to learn and who knows… even love it. I have assisted to a lot of courses and conferences preparing myself to keep growing and becoming a better teacher.
