Meet Our Team

Ali is a teacher in Tallahassee, FL with a gift for working with kids. While Ali has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading and math tutoring. She studied at FSU. When Ali isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her teaching 4th grade in a public school, reading, jogging and spending time with her nieces and nephews .

Kara is a teacher in Tallahassee, FL with a gift for working with kids. While Kara has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading and writing tutoring. She studied at Florida State . When Kara isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her home schooling her two children and supporting a local Tallahassee home school coop.  

Krissy is a Sylvan teacher in Tallahassee, FL with her certification in early reading and a love for teaching eager learners.. While Krissy has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in teaching students K – 6..She graduated from Flagler College. When Krissy isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her attempting to corral her young twin sons. .

Tamicka is a teacher in Tallahassee FL with a love for seeing her students grow to their full potential. She is full time teacher in a local public school and enjoys working with students of all ages.  While Tamicka has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in teaching language arts subjects.  And when she isn’t at Sylvan you will find her deeply involved in her community and supporting her extended family  

Beth is a Advanced math teacher in Tallahassee, FL with a love working with students of all ages. Beth’s teaching skills extend far beyond the world of algebra and geometry and includes SAT/ACT prep, and upper level language arts. She finds the greatest joy instructing middle and high school students who have not enjoyed their educational experiences to date. She studied at University of South Alabama and Faulker state. When Beth is isn’t at Sylvan you will find her wrapped around a science fiction book and pursuing a variety of eclectic interests that involve her love of science and children.

As Center Director, Bill leads the center management for Sylvan of Tallahassee. A former business CEO, math instructor and chemical engineer, Bill loves being a part of helping each student to be the best he or she can be. His degree is from Purdue University and he has traveled all over the world for business.  He is intrigued by the differences in education among the many countries he has visited.  When Bill isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him boating, enjoying the outdoors and personally researching the neurology of learning.
