Blake Stine

Owner/ Director of Operations

Blake Stine was born and raised in Osceola County. He was also a Sylvan student when he was a child. His main goal in life outside of his family is to make our community a better place. Mr. Blake believes that every child is extraordinary, however, it takes a special someone to affect change and bring out the spark that all children have when it comes to learning. “Learning should be personal”, and Mr. Blake strives every day to make sure that no child is left behind for any reason. “There is NO such thing as normal or average every child is capable of great things, we just need to give them the tools to be who they aspire to be.” Blake Stine

Kathleen Stine

Center Director

As Center Director, Kathleen leads the center in overseeing sales, organizing all educational material, working with parents and teachers, and ensuring all of the students are reaching their maximum potential. A jack of all trades, Kathleen chose a career in the tutoring business because she saw a need within her community for children struggling educationally and no additional resources being provided to help parents relieve some stress during after school hours. When Kathleen isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her volunteering on a board or as a team mom within the youth sports community.

Safia Ali

Teacher

Mrs. Safia is from Coral Springs, Florida and a graduate from University of Central Florida with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. She recently moved to Central Florida and has been working at Sylvan since September.She has over 7 years of experience in caring for, tutoring, and working with children. She believes in personalized learning and the power of education, and she sees the difference first hand that it makes in the student’s life working at Sylvan.
