As the Owner and Center Director, Meenakshi leads the charge in community outreach and center operations. With an impressive background as a CPA, MBA, and Master’s in Accounting, along with experience as an accounting teacher, Meenakshi brings both expertise and passion to the field of education.

Meenakshi chose to pursue a career in tutoring because she wanted to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives. She is dedicated to providing students with the resources and support they need to succeed and achieve their goals.

When she’s not at Sylvan, Meenakshi enjoys spending quality time with her two children, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, dancing, and traveling to explore new destinations.

Meenakshi’s commitment to empowering students and her dedication to education make her an invaluable part of the Sylvan family.

Ryan is an integral member of our team, known for his expertise, passion, and creativity in helping students succeed. A graduate of Full Sail University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Ryan has been with Sylvan Learning for nearly two years, focusing on math instruction and SAT preparation.

In addition to his work at Sylvan, Ryan teaches Computer Science at Christiana High School in the Christina School District. Balancing these dual roles has given him a unique perspective on the learning needs of today’s students, allowing him to tailor his teaching approach for meaningful and lasting impact.

Outside of teaching, Ryan enjoys playing board games and exploring the imaginative worlds of fantasy books—hobbies that fuel his creativity and help him connect with students on a personal level.

Ryan’s time at Sylvan has been transformative, deepening his connection with students and equipping him with innovative strategies to help learners thrive academically and personally.

Jacqueline has been a dedicated tutor at Sylvan Learning Center for nearly a year, bringing a passion for education and a love of learning to every session. Currently pursuing her degree in elementary education at DelTech, she is on track to graduate with her bachelor’s degree in the spring of 2025.

Jacqueline thrives on making a positive impact in children’s education, encouraging their curiosity, and celebrating their successes. She finds joy in seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they grasp a new concept or discover the fun in learning.

Outside of tutoring, Jacqueline enjoys writing and listening to music, hobbies that fuel her creativity and connection with students. She values Sylvan’s welcoming and supportive atmosphere, which inspires her to give her best every day.
