Center Director

As Center Director, Lynn Dusa’ ensures that every family has a positive and enriching experience at Sylvan Learning. With a background as a sales and marketing manager, Lynn transitioned to the tutoring industry because of her passion for working with students and helping them achieve their academic goals. When she’s not at the center, you’ll likely find Lynn spending quality time with her family, cooking and traveling.

Donna Willliamson

Lead Administrative Assistant

Our lead administrative assistant has been a vital part of Sylvan Learning for over 16 years. With extensive knowledge of all the ins and outs of the business, she ensures that everything runs smoothly day-to-day. Her dedication and expertise are invaluable to both our staff and families. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her three beloved grandchildren.

Dmitriy Markov

Math Division Lead Teacher

Mr. Markov is proudly known as our resident “math guru” at Sylvan Learning. With expertise in teaching all levels of math, he is passionate about helping students understand that “mathematics and logic are key tools for making sound decisions in life.” His dedication and knowledge make him an invaluable asset to our team, and we’re excited to have him share his skills with your family. Outside the center, you’ll often find Mr. Markov enjoying DIY projects, fishing, or working on cars—his favorite hobbies.

Roger Mossman

Tutor

Mr. Mossman brings over 9 years of experience in education, both as a volunteer and a teacher, working with students in a variety of settings. His passion for teaching even took him overseas, where he taught English in Thailand and China. He holds degrees from Biola University and Azusa Pacific University. Mr. Mossman’s diverse experiences and dedication to student success make him a valuable addition to our team.

Sherry Harris

Tutor

Mrs. Harris is a retired Resource Specialist from Ceres Unified School District, bringing a special gift for working with children. While she has a wide range of tutoring skills, her greatest joy comes from helping children discover the love of learning. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science from Chapman University and Education Specialist Mild/Moderate Degree When she’s not at Sylvan, Mrs. Harris enjoys traveling the world and exploring new cultures.

Lisa Gein

Tutor

Mrs. Gein is a retired teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Paleontology with an emphasis in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Throughout her career, she taught 8th-grade Physical Science, as well as Earth Science and Chemistry at the high school level. When she’s not helping students at Sylvan Learning, you can find her practicing the trumpet with MoBand or playing handbells at her local church.
