Lori

Center Director

As Center Director, Lori leads the center for Sylvan Learning in Fairfield. She was raised in the Midwest before migrating to California. Lori has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Juris Doctor Degree. Education is extremely important to Lori and she thrives when she is able to help students reach their academic potential. When Lori is not at Sylvan, she loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and two miniature poodles…creating special memories! Lori also enjoys cooking, reading, volunteering in her community, and Disney vacations!

Sarah

Instructor/Administrative Assistant

Sarah is one of our reading instructors. After graduating California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, she went on to receive a preliminary teaching credential and Masters degree in Education at Alliant International University. Outside of teaching, Sarah enjoys quilting and playing with her two young boys.

Bryanna

Instructor/Administrative Assistant

Bryanna is currently transferring to Sac State.  She finds working with children rewarding and love to help the learn.  When not at Sylvan, Bryanna Enjoys playing volleyball.

Lauren

Instructor/Administrative Assistant

Lauren is a student at California State University, Northridge.  Lauren enjoys working at Sylvan and helping out in all capacities.  She enjoys watching the students light up as they master new skills.  In her free time, Lauren loves volleyball, music, Disneyland, and traveling.

Savannah

Instructor

Savannah graduated from the University of Massachusetts earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.  As the Administrative Assistant for Sylvan, Savannah assists with the day to day operations here at the learning center.  Savannah also enjoys teaching the students reading and math.  When not at the center, she loves to go on hikes, travel to new places, binge watch shows and try out new restaurants.

Cristina

Instructor

Cristina graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She continually takes child development classes to hone her knowledge in the growth and development of the “whole child” and how they learn. Creating a positive and supportive learning environment is her greatest passion. She currently teaches preschool with a rambunctious group of children. When not working she loves spending time with her husband and two kids, hiking and exploring new places.

Rachel

Instructor

Rachel is a reading, writing, and math instructor here at Sylvan.  She graduated from UCLA with a degree in English Literature.  She loves helping students develop of love for the language arts.  When not working as a substitute teacher or for Sylvan, Rachel loves playing water polo, writing, and listening to music.

Andrew

Andrew will be studying mechanical engineering in college. Andrew enjoys teaching as he wants to inspire others to succeed and grow.  Math is his favorite subject to teach.  In his free time he enjoys building Legos, playing video games and socializing.

Kiana

Instructor

Kiana is an enthusiastic instructor who has been working within education since graduating from CSU Sacramento.  Kiana has a passion for diversity and inclusion.  Outside of teaching, Kiana enjoys spending time with family, traveling and eating good food!

Aidan

Instructor

Aidan is on of our Upper Level Math instructors.  From high school to college at UC Irvine, he’s taught many different subjects. This love of teaching led him to pursue medicine.  When not teaching, Aidan is usually reading or watching spooky movies!

Rayonni

Instructor

Rayonni is thrilled that she is able to support students and teach her favorite subject, math.  She is currently pursuing her degree in Psychology at the University of Antelope Valley.  When she is not teaching, she enjoys reading, drawing, painting and basketball.

Angela

Instructor

Angela is a graduate of University of California Merced.  She has a degree in Environmental Engineering.  Angela enjoys working with students and helping them achieve their academic goals.  When Angela is not teaching at Sylvan, she enjoys going to concerts, road trips and walking her dog, Mojo!

Michelle

Instructor

Michelle earned her Master’s Degree  in Counseling Education at San Jose State University.  She is a college professor and counselor.  She enjoys working with students in all areas and and has a great ability to relate to them. When Michelle isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with family, trying new restaurants, reading and going for long drives.
