My 10-year-old started Sylvan (El Segundo) a few months ago and he loves going there. They have a low student-to-tutor ratio so I am happy that my son receives personalized attention. The program fits well with my son's active personality more than another tutoring program based on mastering repetitive worksheets ;).

My 8 year old has been going for tutoring and is loving it. The scheduling has been extremely easy! I had to reschedule 2 sessions and even the rescheduling is extremely fast and easy. The lessons have been helping my daughter in reading a lot already. It’s even boosted her confidence in reading our load which is what she needed. My daughter was getting a C in her tests and is now getting A’s and B+ in her test in reading. I would recommend to all 100%. I also should add I’ve tried out other tutoring locations and this place is a Winner. Only place we loved!!!

Thank you Sylvan! Several months ago we started tutoring at Sylvan, and I only have positive feedback to give about our experience. Our daughter is already involved in a lot of activities yet we wanted to supplement her learning with additional tutoring without having additional learning assignments — Sylvan Learning fits the bill. 1. Our daughter looks SUPER FORWARD to going each and every week. The positive reward system they use is excellent. 2. The atmosphere is very positive - the teachers are kind and friendly. 3. There is NO outside homework - very big plus for us not wanting to add an…

I highly recommend this Sylvan location! I enrolled both of my kids in the summer session, and Josh made the experience incredibly fun. My daughter practiced math over the summer, and now that she's back in school, she finds her math class a breeze.

Our daughter was having trouble at school so we decided to try Sylvan. The progress we have seen has been amazing! Not only did she start improving but we could tell that she was enjoying going to school too. We loved it so much, we decided to enroll our son in Sylvan. Would highly recommend Sylvan and it’s staff.

Our daughter used to hate readying and while she was an OK reader, she had serious problem with reading comprehension. We signed her up at Sylvan El Segundo and after ONE session her whole attitude towards reading changed: She is looking forward to her tutoring sessions, she is reading on her iPad on her own and she started scoring A+ on her reading comprehension! The Sylvan tutors are excellent at what they do. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Sylvan learning center Manhattan Beach, Ca. I love how helpful, genuine, and friendly Joshua the administrator is with me as a parent. The tutors are wonderful, on time and makes learning very understandable for my child. Best decision I made for my child's education.

Sylvan Learning Center of El Segundo has a been a great addition to our family activities. Our family is constantly finding ways to supplement our children's education or to help them strengthen their skills. Sylvan has been able to meet the needs of each child we have attending in a fun and encouraging way. My children love earning points for their hardwork and shopping at the "Sylvan Store." Sylvan has a plan for a variety of subjects. With time and consistency, you will see results. I only wish that the Sylvan Center was open on Fridays and open for more hours on the weekends so my boys co…
