Meet Our Team

As Center Director, Rebecca manages the center as well as meets with families to discuss their child’s progress.  A former Director of Education for Sylvan of Goodyear, and a 3rd/4th grade elementary school teacher, Rebecca chose a career in the tutoring business to help children learn and discover their potential. She taught for Sylvan for 12 years before becoming a Director. Rebecca, a native Arizonan, studied at Mesa Community College and Ottawa University.  When she isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her trying new restaurants while spending time with friends and family.

A former classroom teacher for 28 years in the St. Louis area, Russ brings a wealth of knowledge to Sylvan of Chandler.  He graduated from Northeast Missouri State University. When Russ isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him reading, watching movies, or eating out with friends.

Mary has taught elementary school for 35 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University, Nebraska.  Mary enjoys reading and watching movies.

Denise has taught high school Math and English for many years.  She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Rutgers University.  Denise enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and creating mosaics.

Jamie has her Masters from Grand Canyon University.  She has taught 6th through 12th grade English and Reading.  Jamie enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
