Madeline Fernandes
Assistant Director
Director
Madeline Fernandes is the Executive Director and Franchisee at the Saskatoon and Regina Sylvan Learning Centres. She enjoys seeing the students’ delight in their own accomplishments and new found skills after attending Sylvan. Madeline is committed to ensuring that all families have a rewarding experience. Madeline graduated from the University of Regina, with a Bachelor of Human Justice. Then, after working in the social work field for a number of years, she began her career with Sylvan in 2009 as a Director of a Sylvan Learning Centre in Winnipeg, MB. After seeing the difference that the program made in the lives of students and their families, she took the opportunity to return to Saskatchewan to purchase the Centre in Saskatoon in 2011. In 2014, Madeline expanded with two satellite Centres in Warman and North Battleford. Eventually in January 2024, Madeline expanded her operations and acquired the Sylvan Learning Centre in Regina. She is thrilled to be building Saskatchewan students’ academic skills, which are needed to not only succeed in school but in life in general. Madeline spends her spare time running after her 4 wonderful, yet very active children.
