Yasmin Bajwa
Centre Director
Yasmin has been a valued member of Sylvan Learning since 2018, initially joining as a Director of Education before transitioning into the role of Centre Director. With a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Education degree, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her position. Prior to her time at Sylvan, she served as a determined classroom teacher, demonstrating her commitment to education. With profound dedication to student success and learning, she finds great fulfillment in witnessing students make progress and gain self-confidence.
Bob Dhudwal
Director of Education
Bob has been with Sylvan Learning since 2001. Initially, he started working as a math instructor in Vancouver. He then transitioned into the role of Director of Education. He joined our Newton location in August 2020. With an understanding that the classroom is not meeting every child’s needs, Bob enjoys collaborating with families to help them achieve their academic goals. He believes there is no greater reward than watching a student gain self-confidence through improved performance at school. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) and Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from the University of British Columbia, and was a Teacher-On-Call for the Vancouver and Surrey School Districts before joining Sylvan.
